The atmosphere is truly pleasant, the location is superb! The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable. It was a perfect stopover in the middle of the storm that day!

The service was fantastic and the atmosphere absolutely lovely – really welcoming and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the same standard. I had the chicken supreme with gnocchi, but the gnocchi was completely overcooked and far too salty. My partner ordered the chicken burger, which was bland and overloaded with onions. A real shame, as everything else was spot on.

Absolutely the best meal we had on our cross country trip in Ireland. The vegetarian sesame tofu dish was divine and my husband s prawns were amazing. Definitely stop and eat here. Great location and excellent service.

A lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and good food. The prices are certainly high for such a small place, but the quality and presentation of the food are excellent, so it's definitely a recommendation.

Very good food, we ate very well. A nice selection of dishes (fish, meat, burger, veg). Good service as well, maybe the music was a bit loud but we had a great time!

Vaughan Lodge

13/07/2025: This hotel will not disappoint, the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had on the island of Ireland. The hotel itself is spotless & the staff are so friendly & efficient. It is a credit to the owner, Michael, who is ever present on the establishment. Dinner is a must have also.
17/06/2025: Our group of 21 stayed here for our last 3 nights as part of our southwest golf and sightseeing tour. Although the lodge is small compared to the large hotel we stayed at in Killarney, it was a wonderful stay! The rooms were nicely updated and modern, and the restaurant was phenomenal with Michael’s great menu choices. We also enjoyed spending time in the bar/parlor area watching the US Open.The location is unbeatable as you are just a very short walk to the Lahinch golf course and the pubs and shops. If you’re going to be traveling and staying in Lahinch, I highly recommend the Vaughan Lodge!!

24/07/2025: Absolutely spotless pub and very welcoming The owner gave us a tour and explained the whole story of the place and how it had been lovingly re built . A great place to visit 👌🏼
29/04/2025: Myself and my wife visited this Bar on numerous occasions during our stay in Lahinch. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the relaxing comfort in the bar, Tommy the owner was a Gentleman very welcoming and friendly, His staff were very friendly and helpful, his establishment in Lahinch was the cleanest bar and best run that we had seen in all our travels around Ireland 🇮🇪 we would highly recommend this Bar for a great night out
