I had the steak burger, which wasn't haute cuisine. I know they overcook the steaks here, but this one was a tough, flavorless block. As for the bacon, it had no flavor, and there was very little sauce. Obviously, I can't judge the entire cuisine based on a single dish; however, this one really wasn't great (and the same goes for the desserts). It's expensive for what it is.
As for the waitresses, they weren't very pleasant (except for one); there was no smile, which is a shame for a restaurant that's supposedly "typically Irish."
I don't know if I'd honestly recommend it, maybe for the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful interior, but nothing more.
Lovely food, lovely staff.
Eat outside for the best experience, weather permitting.
My go to is Caeser salad, with chicken breast.
A big portion, and tasty.
Roast of the day varies from beef, bacon to turkey and ham.
Good wholesome food. A varied menu is available.
Many glutenfree options also available.
This is a lovely and cosy restaurant, and a fantastic open fire 🔥, service is great and very attentive staff . Food is lovely . I would go just to sit next to the fire. Great desserts and vegetarian choices as well
