The Ferry Inn in Portumna

Such a positive experience here today, food is top notch, arriving fast and waitresses were attentive, polite and lovely. The Christmas decorations are definitely NOT over the top ... loved this experience, thankyou 👍🙂

Delicious hot food, great soups, delicious brown bread, tasty wings. Comfortable atmosphere and warm fire burning in the fireplace.

I had the steak burger, which wasn't haute cuisine. I know they overcook the steaks here, but this one was a tough, flavorless block. As for the bacon, it had no flavor, and there was very little sauce. Obviously, I can't judge the entire cuisine based on a single dish; however, this one really wasn't great (and the same goes for the desserts). It's expensive for what it is. As for the waitresses, they weren't very pleasant (except for one); there was no smile, which is a shame for a restaurant that's supposedly "typically Irish." I don't know if I'd honestly recommend it, maybe for the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful interior, but nothing more.

Food always very good. Staff and the lady owner is always attentive and friendly. Could not recommend enough!

Lovely food, good plain traditional dinners, done well. Very reasonably priced.

We were just in the ferry inn for dinner the service was 100%.and the staff were so nice.the food was fablous .we will defenitly be back .
