The Fertha in Cahirciveen

We waited for ages while others, who arrived way after us, got their drinks and food instantly. Our food was ok, but both dishes tasted like there was loads of glutamat (soup cubes) in them. At least staff was very friendly.

It was a quite Thursday afternoon when we visited but the food was very nice. I got bacon and cabbage (very tasty) my husband had pork and my son had chicken nuggets and chips. The service was good, the food was good. The toilets were clean. Happy out.

A wonderful traditional Irish pub. Dropped in for lunch during our travels through Kerry. Service was great. The food was exceptional. Fish and chips we're the best we'd had during our time abroad. Cottage pie was delicious.

I had the Guinness stew at Fertha Bar & Restaurant, and it was absolutely incredible! The meat was tender, the sauce was rich and full of flavour, and you could really taste the depth the Guinness added. It was the perfect comfort food, and you can tell the chef did an excellent job—every bite was delicious. What really surprised me was the portion size. It was very generous, especially for the price, which makes it not only tasty but also great value. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the staff were absolutely lovely—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in Cahersiveen and want a hearty, satisfying meal!

Visiting family and had a great time in this Fertha. Would recommend you check the Fertha out. Great food,staff was excellent and amazing knowledgeable of everything that’s happening around and about. Need to phone 📞 to book Sunday. Will be going there again for sure. Gran comida, bar tierno era genial, muy amable y tiene buen conocimiento de whisky. Chowder era muy bueno, tostadas de jamón era genial!
