This is a great breakfast spot that is priced right, has great service, and a lovely location. Off the beaten track? Yes! But, well worth the diversion. Then go next door for some amazing smoked salmon!

The fish & chips were very good... but no homemade tartar sauce…. that doesn't work at all! Industrial tartar sauce may be OK at a fast food take-away, but not in a restaurant. That's better!

Only stopped for a tea and a coffee. Tiny little teapots and weak tea. The coffee was absolutely awful. Couldn’t drink it. Pity as a lovely restaurant and lovely staff.

Lunch time stop on sunny day for a light lunch. Nice spot with plenty parking and friendly staff. A toasted sandwich and smoked salmon on brown bread were just grand! Only quibble is little or no butter on the bread for both. Toasted sandwich dry as a result. Smoked salmon fine for me but my bread needed butter. Price reasonable.

Very pleasant restaurant with a cozy terrace right on the river. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty! Very friendly service. Thank you for the opportunity to stay overnight.

Stunning location on a sunny day. Well below average food. Even tho the waitresses were pleasant there were zero enquiries to see if food was good bad or indifferent even with very low customer count in the place. Hard to believe there isn't more effort put into the food to make this a top draw which it undoubtedly could be.

30/12/2024: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. An absolutely fantastic experience - great atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff and everyone at our table loved every dish.
08/09/2024: What can be said about this place is that it is unique. Old Church of Ireland. Food? Well, this is something special. Despite the late hour, the cook did a great job. There's no need for a photo because it wouldn't show the extra flavor. Salmon tartare with caviar delighted the taste buds. Non-alcoholic mojito perfection. We cordially invite and encourage everyone to eat something.
