The Fleet Inn Guesthouse & Restaurant in Killybegs

We love this place, it is THE PLACE to stay in Killybegs and we have stayed here three times now. The owners are incredibly friendly, generous, and accommodating—I won't go into how we found this out, but suffice it to say it rekindled our belief in human kindness and the generosity of the Donegal people in general. Super central location adjacent to the scenic port and great food both in the Fleet Inn itself and from The Boathouse (and sibling business The Fish Shack) next door. Personally, I think the Fleet Inn's chowder is a little more sophisticated than The Boathouse's! There's a pub/restaurant area on the ground floor where you can obtain the aforementioned chowder, other dishes from the sea and the land, plus all manner of beverages and it is a popular place with locals, and with the mariners when they are in port. Across the road is the excellent Wild Atlantic Crafts which showcases the work of local arts and crafts people.

We spent a lovely evening at the bar with live music and darts on the many televisions. Would love to come back.

Stayed over on NYE. Lovely rooms and food. Stairs only negative but needed the exercise.

Stayed for a night after visiting Slieve League. Food was great and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location is very convenient and close to some cafes and shopping. Great value for the money. Stairs may be difficult for people with mobility challenges but they are very upfront about this when booking. Would gladly stay again.

Lovely, cozy bar for a snack & some Guinness. The espresso martini was 10/10. Super friendly service too, would definitely be back 🤗

Vegan options could be improved, I grabbed food before we got here as nothing sounded too interesting but everyone else loved their food. Great atmosphere, service and good live music!

Amazing fish and chips, real Guinness, great service.. recommended any day of Killybegs.

Senan is the man, he's gas out and gave put THE best cocktails, if this man isint bar manger, GIVE him the role and also amazing bar
