The Floury Apron in Cork

Ordered a customized birthday cake at the last minute, and the result was absolutely amazing—better than I expected! The service was excellent, and I really appreciate the effort and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Floury apron provided the catering for our baby’s christening day on Saturday , food was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend and will be sure to use their services again for baby’s first birthday . We ordered a lemon cake, personalised shortbread cookies, Thai red curry which was delicious, beef, mini sausage rolls and goujons, sandwiches and cheese and grape skewers! Everything was devoured and portions were generous. Caroline was so helpful in the lead up to the day providing advice on the day logistics and was a pleasure to deal with. 5++++++*

Not a huge choice of food but value good and lovely relaxed place to go for a coffee and chat.

While the cafe and the location are good I don’t think I’ll be back. The coffee, hot chocolate was good and so was the sandwich but when we arrived there was just one other table sat so it wasn’t busy. However the healthy oat cake was stodgy, underbaked and not great overall. Healthy doesn’t have to mean grim. We looked for a clean table but there wasn’t one so we sat at a table that was covered in crumbs after ordering. When the waitress came to deliver our drinks I asked if she could give the table a quick wipe, she came back, sprayed everywhere and literally swept the crumbs onto me, so I had to shake them out of my top. Then they turned on the music very loud and turned off the lights in what was clearly an attempt to get us to leave early, it was 4:15 at that point. We would have had no issue leaving if they asked. But there was a few other tables at that point.

I recently ordered sandwiches for 20 people and the quality and flavour was divine. I collected on a Saturday afternoon for use on a Sunday and the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend the Floury Apron whether sitting in or ordering for an occasion.

I couldn't be happier with the gluten free chocolate biscuit cake I ordered for my 60th. It was absolutely delicious and the colours and details of the decorations were exactly what I had I mind. The cake was a huge hit on the night and I received so many compliments. It was and still is a talking point. I would 100% recommend Caroline and the team at The Floury Apron. The communications via email along the way were great. Thank you again for making my cake 😀

I love the Floury Apron. The Food is always fresh, actually tastes homemade, and really tasty. The owner clearly loves what she does, and it shows. The Staff are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend it enough

We had our sons christening cake made by the floury apron and everything about the service was 5 stars. From the ease of organising the order, the beautifully decorated and gorgeous tasting biscuit cake, and lovely follow up. Great customer service! I will definitly be ordering my future celebration cakes from the floury apron.
