The g Hotel & Spa in Galway

Massive queue whe I arrives with guests. No help with luggageat a 5 star hotel not good. Toilets clean bit dark and very badly lit.

Great breakfast. Love the nightlight.

Expensive but a great experience. Food was top notch

We had a last minute cancellation at a nearby hotel, and we were able to book here no problem. The staff was very accommodating. Atmosphere is incredible, they treat you like royalty no matter what.

The room was excellent; well appointed, sizeable, quiet and with a good bathroom. The room was a joy to stay in! However, other aspects of our stay were not as positive, The service at check in was slow and ponderous. The service in the breakfast room was haphazard each day. Guests are charged extra to use the basic Spa facilities and there is no gym.

The hotel has stunning, Guest services were over the top helpful, the restaurant staff and food were great! We had an amazing stay!

Lucia was great! She checked us into a lovely room and helped us plan our own food tour! The room was wonderful! Michael took excellent care of our bags until we were able to check in. Then brought them to our room.

We stayed for 1 night on Sunday 13/07/25 and had booked a superior room. Upon checking in your lovely receptionist Lucia asked us were were celebrating an occasion, we stated it was our anniversary and she kindly offered us two complimentary drinks from the bar, she then handed us our room keys and informed us she had upgraded us to one your beautiful suites in room 284. We were absolutely blown away by such a kind gesture and the room was totallt stunning. We had dinner in the restaurant which was beautiful and well presented, my only small complaint would be I would have liked to see more varied options for sides as I didn't think truffle fries would be something you'd expect to see on a menu in a 5 star hotel. We also had breakfast the following morning which was delicious and I struggled to decide what to have as everything sounded appealing. We were allowed to use the spa after checking out at 12 o'clock which we really appreciated. The spa is stunning and we were lucky to have it all to ourselves. We left feeling totally refreshed for our ongoing journey home. All the staff we encountered were professional yet friendly but a very special thank you to Lucia for going above and beyond for us. We will definitely return and will recommend.
