The g Hotel & Spa in Galway

We got married in the g 9 years ago, we have stayed there every year for the past 15 years. We celebrate our anniversary and we now have 3 December birthdays. This was all relayed through email while booking. As we have 3 small kids we love to stay at the g around Christmas and have our own little pj party. Despite sharing all this information when booking there was no welcome plate or card even left in our room on arrival, something which was always there before so that was a disappointment. The room itself was beautiful and spacious especially with our own Christmas tree. The room however was cold. The heating seemed fine on our first day but didn’t seem to work on the second day. While using the bath there was no little body wash beside it or that could be moved from the sink, which meant I had to get in and out which is a little dangerous. Breakfast selection the next morning wasn’t hectic, I chose pancakes and I asked for just strawberries and cream to be told there was no cream available. How can a 5 star hotel restaurant not have something quite basic as cream. Overall we had a nice stay but there is definitely room for improvement as initially it was even difficult to complete our reservation.

Our stay was brilliant & Davidus (front office manager) made our stay special from the beginning with his warm welcome. Would 100% recommend to friends to stay here. Look forward to returning.

Rooms were worn out but I am aware they are renovating the roooms but the breakfast both mornings was genuinely terrible . Staff were friendly in reception areas and serving but over the breakfast i wouldn’t recommend

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights in the G Hotel and i have to say this is a top runner for best hotels that we have stayed in. We celebrated a joint birthday and from start to finish we were showerd in five star customer service and complently perks, a special shout out too Jack Murphy who is a credit to the hotel, the man gives every customer his complete attention regardless of what is going on in the back round. Would recommomed and definitely will be back.

The service and food was excellent 👌. Absolutely stunning rooms and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for making my mums birthday so memorable. No reservation required on that evening.

From the moment you walk through the door, it's 5-star service! Absolutely beautiful and glamorous throughout and spotlessly clean with a glorious scent fantastically infused everywhere you go. We were only booked for a night but would gladly have loved to stay longer indeed! The Grand Salon dinner was scrumptious, delicious, and all the good things. Diana was a superb server and all the items were top-notch tasty - hummus with roasted veg, the g smash burger with chips, and the green curry with chicken, and ended with the best sticky toffee pudding ever - oh my, what a meal! The room has the details perfectly done. One feels as if you've stepped into 1930s Hollywood but with all the modern comforts, with even a nice note from attendant. The bathroom is spectacular with a deep freestanding tub, a 2-person shower with excellent water pressure, and beautifully bergamot and jasmine scented soaps, lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. This is truly a fabulous property in every way and we're delighted to bits to have stayed here!

Lovely stay at the G. Room, spa & reception & restaurant staff excellent. Only complaint would be dinner choices after booking dinner with our stay. Prefer more choice with optional supplement

Wasn't staying thank god, just in for my graduation dinner, can't believe I spent 5 years studying to be served up such mid food. The chef didn't study for 5 minutes. The buddy seanie minky was starved with the portion he got and the amount of sage on the plate was Gastly. Worst part was some bollucks wouldn't turn the heating on I was bloody freezing
