The Galley Restaurant (Closed for 2020-open again 2021) in

05/07/2025: I don’t think this place was really worth it. The wine pairing was very weak, and the food was good, but it seems like they just focus on technique rather than pairing flavors and finding their own individuality and uniqueness. I get that a lot of these single star places that have held a star for a while are a bit stuffy, and that was the same here. The place seemed a bit soulless. At the end of the day, the food was still of high quality, I just think the value was far off, so if you have money to kill maybe think about going here, but I wouldn’t for a special occasion.

19/06/2025: As beautiful to watch as good to eat. The chef comes to put the Comté cheese sauce on the meat and to chat. The team is very cute and friendly. It was worth the special trip from Dublin.
