Amazing spot with really modern and comfy decor and seats. Beautiful food with wood fired pizza. Best rolo filled brownie ever. Kind and warm staff.

The friendliest staff and the most helpful in Donegal. The food was delicious. The desserts are delicious. Kids menus They do take away food . They have dog friendly outdoor space . It’s only 5 mins from the beach .

Very welcoming, nice and tasty food. If you are visiting northern part of donegal county I think it's a good place to have a meal. There is a downings beach just in front of it. Where you can park the car in the beach parking.

Lovely pizza and chicken burger. Gentleman who served us extremely friendly and overall a good guy. Glad we stopped by and will call again when in the area. Highly recommended 🤟

Downings Bay Hotel

20/06/2025: While we did not stay at the downings bay, we ate there. It was absolutely delicious. 2 adults and a toddler. 3 courses for 29.50 euro which was their thursday supper club menu, with a glass of wine included. Really tasty, serving sizes spot-on, quick service and really attentive staff. I had crab claws to start, duck main, lemon tartlet. Would definitely return.
10/05/2025: This is a superb hotel with large clean rooms, top class food, top class service and I would jump at the chance to stay here again. I hope to get back again soon. The location and surrounding area is beautiful and a visit to Portsalon a must. They could not do enough for us in the hotel and we got 5 star treatment all the week. 10/10.

18/04/2025: Didn't stay here, we had food it was OK. Some enjoyed their dishes and others didn't. Scampi were nice, chicken curry was poor
