Lovely food, and wonderful staff who were so welcoming and helpful. A wide range of food and drinks available, and everything we got was freshly prepared and tasty.

We stopped here as part of a tour with kavanaghs tour group. Had a beautiful bowl of soup and brown bread which was delicious. Lovely friendly staff. Great place for a bite to eat..

We stopped off for a takeaway meal on one of our last evenings in downings. The staff were very friendly and quick in getting our 9 meals sorted. I explained about allergies and he showed us the menu and which to look out for that would not be suitable. I didn't give it a full 5 out of 5 as I found the food slightly greasy and the southern fried chicken burger wasn't overly flavoured. However overall I would recommend for the stone based pizzas which were gorgeous

29/12/2024: Right in the centre of the Downings town… the restaurant ambiance is lovely and food options are really good even for vegetarians… food was yummy and staff was smiling and helpful…
05/11/2024: Was here with a group of 17 on Saturday evening for food and drink, the service was exceptional from start to finish. The food was excellent as well, will definitely be back 👏👏

Downings Bay Hotel

30/12/2024: Very well located in town and right in front of the beach.. had a restaurant on the property
09/11/2024: A great hotel. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Check in took a matter of seconds and our room was spotless and spacious. The location is perfect for Downings and that area of Donegal. Near to everything and plenty to do. Even within walking distance there is lots of bars and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included in our booking and it was lovely. We enjoyed the food so much we had dinner there on our second night and lunch there on our last day and the food was great.
