The Gallops Bar & Restaurant in Kildare

Stopped in for breakfast on the way down country. Full Irish was ok, bit pricey at 14.95 Herself had pancakes with bananas and syrup, 11.50. She says, and she would know, they are the exact same pancakes as she buys in Tesco. Bit mad really isnt it, the stuff they get away with nowadays.

Went to the Gallops last week for our daughters 18th birthday dinner. The choice was great, the food was amazing, and the staff were so nice and very good. We love going to the Gallops we think you can't pass it for price, atmosphere food and great staff.

Got a very tasty roast beef dinner, the beef was cooked perfectly. Lots of seating and a good atmosphere

Went in for a meal approximately 1.30pm today 29/10. We had no booking the waitresses were very polite and welcoming and sorted a table for the five of us. I’m writing this review because my husband has previously been in the hospitality section until changing his career path.If he was to ever go back into this industry the young waitress that looked after us at the table we would most certainly employ , excellent communication skills with the right banter. I’m sorry we forgot to ask her name.Food was lovely thanks to the chef that was on duty.Definitely will be back to this premises due to the friendly service.

We were very well received! Our goal was to eat the steak on a hot stone, but when we arrived it wasn't being served yet, so we said we could wait without any problem! Less than 5 minutes later, the waitress came to tell us that we could order it, as it had been prepared earlier than usual for us! The meat was of excellent quality, tender and juicy! I recommend it without hesitation! I will definitely return!

Had potentially the best meal I have had there last week. Pork belly, red cabbage and mustard mash. 10/10 everything. Price very good too. Unreal Guinness

Food is amazing and great value for money

Excellent selection of food for a family Sunday lunch. Wonderful staff warm and welcoming.

Visited for lunch yesterday. The wait time to get the food was bruuuuutal. The roasted beef in gravy was super salty and veggies were less.
