We go to The Galway Plate often enough and can't recommend them enough for breakfast! Food and service is always great! They are reasonably priced as well.

Venice Restaurant, menu

17/01/2026: A group of 4-6 Galway residents go out for dinner monthly, trying a different restaurant each month. The food this evening was great. Among the group we had 5 different main dishes and several appetizers--all thoroughly enjoyed including a vegan pizza that was great. I had the PENNE AMATRICIANA--I would have ordered another serving it was so good if I didn't have a reasonable amount of willpower. I gave it a 4 for atmosphere only because it is pretty tight seating arrangements and a bit noisy as a result--but the food way more than offsets that issue. Staff were excellent as well. Highly recommend.
11/01/2026: Everything perfect, true Italian cuisine, friendly pleasant staff, will definitely be back 👍
