The Garden Room in Dublin

We enjoyed breakfast in the Garden Room and it was delicious. We each picked up a few treats from the breakfast buffet and we ordered a full Irish breakfast to share. I’m so glad we shared because it was a LOT of food. The mixed berry compote yogurt was so delicious that we spent the entire day talking about it. We let the staff know that my husband has celiac and they were amazing at ensuring everything was safe for him to eat!

On Thursday night we celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner in this exceptional restaurant. Our experience was enhanced by the elegant surroundings of a window seat close to the water feature and the attentive service provided by Wael. It was truly memorable, one that I would highly recommend and want to repeat.

Probably one of the top fine dine spots in Dublin. A bit pricey but portions are massive, festive delicious and service is top notch.

We had the most special afternoon here with family and our toddler. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, made us feel so comfortable even when my toddler changed seats about 5 times! The food, service and environment was just beautiful. We’ll be back again in future and would highly recommend to anyone else looking for something a bit special.

Had a fabulous experience in The Garden Room. The decor is beautiful. We were lucky with weather and able to sit outside in the lovely garden, just stunning, service was excellent, food was really delicious.

We had one of the best meals of our trip in Ireland here. The cocktails are perfect, the decor is so chic and beautiful, and the staff is friendly! I had food allergies a d they were able to accommodate me with zero issues. The mango passionfruit dessert was so good I ordered it twice! Absolutely loved this restaurant.

Had a wonderful stay at the Merrion 15/17 Aug 2024. The Hotel was wonderful and the Garden Room Restaurant served the most scrumptious breakfasts and gorgeous evening meal on the Friday night. Everything was perfect. Staff are all so friendly and "unstuffy", they treated me like a Queen. I was celebrating a significant birthday, and couldn't have picked a more luxurious, wonderful venue to mark the occasion. I will definitely be back for more "me" time soon, thank you so much, and special thanks to the wonderful concierge(s) who took care of travel arrangements, taxi's and tickets so effortlessly as well. A great team, you made me feel so welcome, I loved it! Thank you!

We visited for Saturday dinner. The space is very welcoming, music at the right level, food of very high quality with some items not as expensive as one would think. The best part of our night was service. Julliet was very professional, friendly, and contributed immensely to making this a great night out. Thank you.

My husband and I went for dinner. Had great experience in The Garden Room. The food was so tasty and well presented. The staff was really welcoming. After the main we went to the garden try take a little walk. Then decided to have a glass of wine and dessert outside the garden. Because the garden was really pretty. Two waiters come and got us cushions and our glasses and served us the deserts with drinks outside the garden.

Lovely location on the Terrace for lunch with my guests visiting from California. Sorry to say our food was not up to scratch in a 5 star hotel.
