The Garden Room in Dublin

What a wonderful meal, experience, people, and place! I am vegan, and have very high expectations for taste, texture, and integrity to the planrts that are prepared. The food was scrumptious, full of flavor and balance! The service was impeccable! The atmosphere is fine, but very inviting. The dining room loos over the garden and fountain or The Merrion hotel courtyard. I highly recommend this place for vegans (and most likely no vegans)!

I am honestly surprised this is not a Michelin star rated restaurant. It was far better than some I have been to! The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. I would like to thank Timothy and Wael, you truly made our evening remarkable and memorable. I highly recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed! It was a perfect welcome to Dublin!

The service and atmosphere were great, however the food wasn’t as good. Both our dishes were over cooked and we both ate half of our meals. For the price it isn’t somewhere I’d eat again.

My main concern is that the menu did not have allergens listed clearly and the QR code link provided did not lead to a full allergen menu either. As this is a life or death matter for many allergy sufferers (and a legal requirement), I would need to know this has been resolved before returning for what was otherwise a lovely meal. Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel, food was very good, although maybe slightly below expectations given the location. Staff were very nice and attentive.

I must say this was the best restaurant experience I ever had anywhere in Ireland or abroad. This was due to the fantastic food, the best service and the best outdoor environment that we could find in the area of Dublin, because we are longing constantly for a sunny place which is not windy, by the way. They have a very classy outdoor garden, with statues and fountains, pictures don't do justice.
