The Garden Room in Clonakilty

This boutique elegant family run hotel is exceptional. Beautiful decorated interior keeping in line with area. The bedroom is very comfortable with Dyson air condition unit, coffee machine etc. I didn’t eat dinner but it’s one of few rare hotels where breakfast is cooked fresh with table service. Staff were very helpful. Keep up the good work.

What an absolute find!!! Stunning little family run hotel in the heart of town. Such lovely and warm service. Very personal, rooms were a delight, food was fab, really good value for money!

Absolutely stunning rooms, staff lovely, unfortunately let down by the price and quality of dinner.

Quirky little hotel with fairly decent rooms. The restaurant was a hot mess sadly. Service appeared to be really under water for breakfast, the couple next to me ordered oatmeal and it just never came and they left. The full irish breakfast had no tomatoes or mushrooms or bread with it, just odd. The black pudding was cooked to within an inch of being just a lump of coal. If you stay in the hotel, go elsewhere where food. Also the bar was limping through. 2 ladies ordered cosmos next to me and they got one because the bar had no more cranberry, like what? Very close to Michael Collins museum so that was nice. Parking around the square is not always guaranteed.

I found the staff at the Emmet Hotel to be the friendliest and most helpful that I have come across. This in turn is a reflection of the atmosphere created by the hotel owner/manager Rob. Enjoyed everything about the hotel. Good size bedroom and bathroom, the food and location. I would definitely try and book the Emmet if visiting the area again.
