A beautiful, peaceful spot. Quaint & "old worldly". The cleanliness & excellent service cannot be denied. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you to the whole team for your welcome and availability. The room is very pleasant, quiet and extremely clean. Typical breakfasts and meals with a menu that is renewed regularly. Very local atmosphere in the evening at the pub. See you soon!

Stayed 6 days ago for 2 nights on a voucher offer. We stayed there previously and knew what to expect, the hotel is old and quaint but has a lovely character. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with plenty hot water, excellent tasty bar food and excellent value. I am a coeliac where breakfast had lots of choices with good quality food. All the staff we met were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Anyone who has given this hotel a 1* last week must have stayed in the dog house with a doggy bag, for us, looking forward to returning at a later date... Anne.

Stopped in for lunch recently while driving the ring of Kerry. Lovely old world atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was great. A perfect "pit stop" on the long drive. Will definitely go back again.

We stayed at the Glenbeigh for a family gettogether. We took 4 room, all different, all fabulous and with their own charm. The staff were all lovely and helpful and accommodating to our needs (we were travelling with a 2 month old). The the food in the bar was delicious. I can honestly say I would recommend a stay here for anyone in the area. Brilliant value for money in a wonderful location.

The staff was friendly and we ate in the pub which had great food. This feels like a small family run hotel with a cozy atmosphere. Dining room is nice for breakfast and food was good. Only gave 4 stars because we had one room above the kitchen so be prepared to wake up around 6 and go to bed around 10:30 if you stay in that one. The other room was nicer but there was a band playing also until 10:30. We stayed one night while traveling the ring of Kerry. I would recommend this hotel overall.

This place is so inviting from the outside (with lots of parking, which is handy). When you get inside, it feels even more homely and warm. The staff are excellent, food is great and there's a really nice atmosphere.

Myself and my Fiancé stayed here for two nights. The room was small but nice. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely. There werent enough plug sockets in the room. The only socket available to use for phone charging and the kettle was also used for the tv. Couldnt sign into netflix on tv because of internet connection. The curtains were very thin. The grouting around the bath needs to be redone. The water pressure in the shower was lovely. Breakfast both mornings in the garden room was lovely and had a nice selection. Would have been nice if the bar menu had more vegetarian options. The hotel was nice and quiet.

07/12/2024: Rossbeigh Bar: A Timeless Gem in Glenbeigh, Kerry Rossbeigh Bar in Glenbeigh, County Kerry, holds a special place in my heart. For as long as I can remember, it has been a family and friends' favourite spot, a place where we have gathered for good food, great drinks, and even better company. Over the years, this charming pub has become more than just a place to grab a pint—it’s a cherished part of my memories, and I continue to visit every time I return to the beautiful village of Glenbeigh. A Warm Welcome One of the things I love most about Rossbeigh Bar is the warmth of the welcome. From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and an atmosphere that feels like home. The staff are always attentive, quick with a laugh, and eager to make sure you feel comfortable. It’s the kind of place where, whether you’re a regular or a newcomer, you’re treated like part of the family. This welcoming atmosphere has kept me coming back over the years, and it’s one of the reasons why Rossbeigh Bar stands out in the area. The Food: Simple, Delicious, and Always Fresh Rossbeigh Bar has a fantastic food menu that has never disappointed me, no matter what I’m in the mood for. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed everything from hearty traditional Irish dishes to lighter fare, always knowing that the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The seafood here, in particular, is exceptional. Being located near the coast, the pub takes full advantage of the fresh catch of the day, offering delicious fish dishes that reflect the best of Kerry’s coastal produce. The fish and chips are a personal favourite—crispy, perfectly cooked, and always served with a generous portion of tartar sauce. Aside from the seafood, the traditional Irish dishes, like stew and lamb, are comforting and flavorful. There’s nothing like sitting by the fire with a hearty plate of food after a long day of exploring the stunning scenery around Glenbeigh. The portions are always generous, and the meals are filling, making it the perfect place to refuel after a day of hiking, beach walking, or taking in the sights of the Ring of Kerry. The Atmosphere: Perfect for Socializing Rossbeigh Bar has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Whether you're popping in for a quiet drink with friends or enjoying a lively evening with family, the pub never fails to provide a space where people can come together. The interior is traditional, with wooden beams, a warm fire, and friendly chatter that fills the air. It's the kind of place where you can easily strike up a conversation with locals or fellow travelers, making it a great spot for meeting new people and soaking in the authentic Irish pub experience. The pub also regularly hosts live music, and the atmosphere is always vibrant when the local musicians perform. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a pint while listening to traditional Irish tunes or contemporary hits in the heart of Kerry. It’s a true reflection of the local culture, and it always makes my visit to Rossbeigh Bar that much more enjoyable. A Place for All Occasions What makes Rossbeigh Bar so special is that it’s a place for all occasions. Whether you're looking for a casual pint with friends, a family meal, or a celebratory drink, the pub accommodates every need. It’s also an excellent spot for tourists, offering a taste of the authentic Kerry experience in a relaxed setting. Whether it’s your first time in Glenbeigh or your hundredth visit, Rossbeigh Bar always delivers an unforgettable experience.
