A bit unusual fare but done very well. Excellent service

Friends invited me to the Grain Store for my birthday. The starters/small plates were very delicious, the wine that was recommended was very nice too. My main was undercooked fish on a bed of chopped tomatoes, nothing special. Very disappointing after such a great start. My friends had the beef which they tell me was amazing. I didn't order that as it had gluten in it, but it did look really good. The waitress wasn't interested in what i ordered, so not sure how well allergies are catered for. Not particularly friendly staff and seemed to all disappear by 5 as no one was there when we left about then, so maybe better not to have an option to book a table at 1530. The venue is nice, but while we were indoors we were constantly pestered by wasps which was really annoying. Not the special birthday treat that I had hoped for, but I'd go back for a starter and a glass of wine as they were top!

We booked for the regular supper club, having become annual members. We were very pleasantly surprised having been bemoaning the dearth of restaurants serving Irish cuisine in Bray. Every course was delightful….delicious and inventive. We will become regular diners here without a doubt. Standout dishes were the lamb and the chocolate dessert.

Food options are limited but it’s a very quality food. Service was good too. The atmosphere is very elegant. Overall very nice light lunch experience.

I went to The Grain Store for lunch for my 30th birthday and it was an absolute treat. The ambience is lovely and the food is truly exceptional.

To be honest, the grain store has always served good food; which was let down by service, which was terrible, and incredibly slow. In any case, we were in the area today, and decided to have lunch there... I have to say, the food (which was good anyway), was better! The menu, was the perfect size (like one side of A4), and the service was great! Thanks guys!

STUNNING food and gorgeous place but it only opens for a couple of hrs Fri-Sun! Such a waste. Stopped opening Thursdays!

Bit of a drive to get here but the great food and vibe makes it worth it.
