The Grainne Uaile in Newport

My family and I had lunch . Venue choice fairly good. Staff friendly. Seating along the wall very low and need updating. wasn't confy for the hight of the tables you'd need some cushions. Soup was nice could be hotter. Roast lamb tough and luke warm. To much mashed potatoes piled onto plate under the Roast stuffed lamb. Very was cold and not fully cooked.no flavour. Bar gentleman never even egnolished us as we said thank you..to busy watching football.. Customers comes first .

A traditional Irish pub and restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Food was superb with several Chefs Specials available, I had the Pork Belly Ribs & they were delicious. Good selection of drinks including the locally brewed Mescan Craft Beer. An Granuáille Uaile also has a beer garden with a view of both the Bay and the Seven Arches Bridge and shows the main sports on a large flat-screen TV.

Really enjoyed this place ,top quality service and a good atmosphere ,definately recommand .

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, prompt service, nice surroundings & excellent food. What more do you want. I'll tell you - very little. A job well done then.

Outstanding food and service. Liz, the Matre Damn, made me feel exceptionally welcome as she buzzed around the restaurant making sure everyone was well taken care of. I hope to return. However Newport is a long way from Long Island, Bahamas.
