Beautiful food, traditional recipies cooked well using quality ingredients and lots of flavour. Staff were friendly professiona and down to earth. Will definitely return.

Lovely pub. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food served with a fantastic pint of Guinness.

The staff are lovely. The pints are good. The atmosphere and banter with the locals was spot on. The food was okay but a little overpriced and the quality & portions could be improved on. I had the mussels, potato skins and chicken wings. All good except that the 1 potato skin I received was a poor size portion for the price. My wife had the chicken curry but the flavour was seriously lacking and it was "McDonnell's" curry sauce out of a packet. Any chef worth their salt should be whipping up a batch curry from scratch. If they can't do that, they shouldn't be in the kitchen. Get rid! I was happy enough but not full so unfortunately it was not value for money.

Nice place! Playground visible just out front so bébé got to play with Grandma while I got to take a quick break on our roadtrip. (Gin & tonic ended up my go-to unless I was drinking Beamish or Murphys.) Sept 13, 2024.

Amazing atmosphere and amazing staff definitely coming back

Great and friendly staff. Sat inside one evening and one evening out and it was beautiful both times. The food is good and the service is quick and friendly.

I couldn’t believe how young the kids were that were serving and bartending at this restaurant. It didn’t give me a lot of hope until they absolutely rocked the service portion of the dining experience. They were so professional kind, and knowledgeable. I had the big Texan burger and my girlfriend had the seafood chowder. Both dishes were fantastic. It’s really cool to watch all of the tourists come up and around because this is a major stopping point on the way out to the island. You can’t go wrong by having lunch here.
