A traditional Irish pub and restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Food was superb with several Chefs Specials available, I had the Pork Belly Ribs & they were delicious. Good selection of drinks including the locally brewed Mescan Craft Beer. An Granuáille Uaile also has a beer garden with a view of both the Bay and the Seven Arches Bridge and shows the main sports on a large flat-screen TV.

Later that evening a whole orchestra came to play beautifully. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Prince Albert also likes it here.

Nice place in Newport town. The food was good, we had the today's special. I liked their paintings. The serving was fast and the staff was friendly. Not pricey, it worth to try.

Kelly's Kitchen

04/11/2024: Dropped in for breakfast during the Dark Skies Festival, the place was packed with just one free table. Despite being super-busy, the staff were still efficient and friendly. We both ordered the full Irish breakfast, and it was one of the best full Irishes I've ever tasted. Kelly's Kitchen is attached to Kelly's butchers shop next door, so of course, the quality of the Rashers, Sausages, & Black & White Puddings was superb. Along with the perfectly cooked eggs, mushrooms, tomato, and Boxty potato cake. Breakfast was excellent, and I'll definitely return here when I'm back in Newport.
27/10/2024: Great place for a meal or a snack. Great coffee too. Friendly staff.

27/10/2024: This spot was probably the best spot I've ever had food in to date..The vol u vents were exquisite,nothing was spared.I can't express it enough,my only regret was personally thanking the chef..The staff were like a warm friendly loving family that you can only dream of.I can't wait to take my 4 children there asap.
