"A hidden gem in Co. Clare! The Half Barrel offers a wonderful atmosphere with some of the best homemade food I've had in a long time. The portions are huge, and the value for money is excellent. The staff are incredibly welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home. Great service and a lovely local feel—highly recommended!"

Not before time am I writing this review. Go there most Saturdays with my friend and have never been disappointed. Steak sandwiche and chips are absolutely delicious. The excellent staff are amongst the best i have encountered. 100% recommend that people try this marvellous place.

Portions are generous and food is devine, staff are very friendly and helpful, value for money, definitely recommend.

We went there for dinner on the 15th of November 2025 the service was very good and the food was a 100%.We will be back again.
