The Harbour Inn in Buncrana

This was a Xmas night out for the Gym I attend which is for women. The menu was different from the usual xmas fare which was a delight Everyone really enjoyed thier food and the friendly professional service. I'm dying to return to sample the food on a non party night

During many past visits to Buncrana, I often passed by the Harbour Inn but never stayed until now. I'm pleased to say the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in until the time I departed, the staff, including Mary at the reception and Sinead during check-out, were exceptional. An unexpected incident occurred when one of my sons accidentally locked himself in the bathroom. The swift response from the wonderful staff to resolve the situation was truly commendable. They promptly arranged for assistance, ensuring minimal distress. Dining at the hotel is a popular choice, and it can become quite crowded. Heeding the advice to make a reservation was beneficial, leading to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, the Harbour Inn provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, matched by attentive and friendly service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It’s not just a place to stay but a delightful part of the Buncrana experience.

Quiet room despite the proximity of a busy road, spacious and clean. The breakfast is copious, without food waste, the service discreet but omnipresent. The proximity of the beach offers a breath of fresh air after a meal at the restaurant.

Due to a water leak/shortage, we were lucky to get a table. Food tasty and reasonable quickly served. Best part I did not pay.

Lovely restaurant, it was quite busy on a Monday night and was very noisy. The food was excellent however kids menu should come with a selection of vegetables, and didn't see that option. Drinks were half ordered, but that was quickly resolved. Deserts was excellent too. Price wise, it wasn't too bad.

Had a beautiful meal here lastnight with my husband and baby. We had a three course meal and drinks. Friendly professional service, extremely tasty food with plenty of choice. Very accommodating making room for our baby's pram, family friendly. Highly recommended.
