The place was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The portions of roast were enormous.....which we found a bit off-putting because the meal was cold by the time we got to the end of it. Most unusual for me I couldn't actually finish it because of the portion size. This might suit some people, so I'll say no more! Lovely historic pub.

Absolutely lovely food, great service and atmosphere

A spicey curry followed by an enormous bowl of Eton Mess ! Nice food, very good staff, shame about the lads having the craic loudly in the background. Tough on my Dad who is hard of hearing but not anyones fault. It impacted on our experience but the venue is not to blame. Will go back.

Nice place for a spot of dinner and drinks. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Will be back there again soon.

Second time here and the food is excellent once again. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We will be back again. Well done.
