The Hungry Mexican: A Little Gem in Dublin
You wouldn't think it from the outside, but this little place near the Westmoreland Luas stop is a real find for Mexican food lovers. It’s easy to miss, but once you step inside and try their Passion Fruit Margarita, you'll be hooked.
I'd highly recommend their Enchiladas – either chicken or pork are both delicious. The Fajitas are also a great choice, and their Grand Nachos with corn chips are a must-try.
If you're looking for a casual, no-frills place with authentic Mexican food, this is the spot.

Great vegetarian/vegan options, amazing fresh chips and salsas all made in house. Good Mexican food is extremely hard to come by in Ireland and this is the best I've had! The staff were lovely, as well.

I recently visited The Hungry Mexican Restaurant with a group of friends, and it was an absolute delight! The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was authentically Mexican, with rich flavours and generous portions, although a few hot sauces on the tables would have been nice. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails. The atmosphere was chill and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends. If you're in Dublin and craving Mexican cuisine, The Hungry Mexican is a must-visit spot! Highly recommended.

This place has the best Mexican food I’ve tried so far! I had the enchiladas and my friend got the quesadillas - both with shredded beef. So delicious!! The cocktails we ordered were great too. Really really nice food for a very good price! Would definitely go back :)
