Fish pie with virtually no fish

Giant Sandwiches served with chips. There is not much other choice, no rice or mash. The chips were nice, but I’m not personally into chips. No vegan options.

Staff are wonderful. Service is second to none. Chef is a wonderful person.

Very nice friendly staff and plenty of seating available including some outdoor seating which was wonderful on a sunny day. Decent variety in the food menu. Food itself was okay - nothing special but not bad either.

Just had an amazing lunch. Very tasty, flavoursome. Place was very clean well presented staff and friendly. Nice find for a bite to eat.

Stopped recently while travelling from Thomastown to Cork. Sunday afternoon and place was really busy. As we had no reservation, we were offered seats at the bar or a table in a covered area outside ( which we accepted). Menu provided and drinks order taken very quickly. There is a relatively small menu together with a few ‘specials’ listed on a blackboard. Ordered the monkfish scampi but unfortunately they had just run out. Had the southern fried chicken burger with side salad/ fries which was really tasty. My partner had a chicken caesar salad with garlic bread, which was again really good. Service was excellent, place was spotless ( including toilets) and food/ drink was very reasonably priced at under €40 in all. Great find on a Sunday afternoon!
