The Latch in Tallow

Had lunch there today for my birthday, and the food was delicious. Fresh, hot home cooked food. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

Had a 3 course meal today me and the wife to celebrate her birthday and was not disappointed at all. From the moment we walked in all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait long at all for each course after we had ordered and each meal was delicious. Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again. 👌👍

Fabulous restaurant, huge choice on the menus ,food was lovely and the staff were were very helpful,well worth a visit.

The Latch in Tallow is a one off and great experience. If you were alive 30/40 years ago the food was wholesome and great value for money, this is the Latch today. The staff and owners are so lovely to deal with but the rumour that it may close at Christmas I urge you to go and have their food.

Great service and reasonable prices!

Called today for lunch on a visit to Tallow. The restaurant was full. We got the last table for two. There was a great buzz about the place and meals going out looked great. The starters were imaginative and delicious. For the mains I ordered bacon. It came with mashed potato and a selection of vegetables. The sauce was the best I ever had. My wife had home made Homemade Shepard's Pie and it was homemade. A great choice at a great restaurant.

Note sure when we walked in but food was excellent & great value. No vegetarian really on menu but asked & got a great stir fry. Excellent. Will go back again

Food was amazing. Service was slow but friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was a bit dated and a slight musty smell but clean.

You will never be disappointed at the Latch, food is always so good, plenty of it, very reasonably priced and a huge menu to choose from. Staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome, have been there a lot and have never been disappointed.
