The Lazy River Café in Carlow

02/04/2024: Our family spent Easter Bank Holiday (Fri to Mon) at Talbot Hotel in Carlow. I've never met such helpful staff - they were very professional and always with a smile. Just to name a few managers Gary Pendergrass & David Muszynski. The security staff and all the other staff from receptionist to cleaners. The food was very good & big portions. We found the soft drinks expensive 200ml bottle of coke cola was €3.90. The Talbot was very much a Hotel for families with small children with the Dome just next door which was very popular. Dunnes stores,Mr Price etc was just across the road - very convenient!! Considering there was refurbishments going on the staff should be applauded because we were hardly aware of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. We also got a very good deal for Easter with plenty of free parking Well done to all the staff you take great pride in your place of work.

29/03/2024: Stayed here overnight for a staff Christmas party. Had the most amazing room all to myself, so modern and clean! The bed was so comfortable I had one of the best nights sleep. A few of us stayed up until close at the hotel bar and the vibes were immaculate. Had one of the best nights here with my workmates I can't rate it highly enough! And the breakfast is great the next morning.
