The Lifeboat Inn in Courtmacsherry

My mum and I went here for dinner recently. The place was absolutely gorgeous, decorated beautifully. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We ordered the hake and the fish & chips. We were so impressed. The hake and cauliflower were beautifully cooked ( massive portions too ). The fish and chips were so tasty, one of the best I’d say. The tartare sauce was unreal! Also a massive portions ( 2 big filets of fish ). We then had the apple crumble and the x-mas pudding for dessert, which were so good! I would definitely recommend this place! We’ll be back :)

I was looking for a cozy place to enjoy the Irish atmosphere and food, and Lifeboat Inn was a perfect choice. The quality and service were excellent, as was the warmth and originality of the place. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of the food. 100% recommended.

It was one of the nicest meals I ever had. The service is top notch & very friendly. You really leave full & its a proper "working man" feed but its also top quality. The pork belly croquettes are unreal. My wife had steak well done & it was still juicy. Definitely a must

Great gastro pub. The food was of a very high standard. I had fish and chips, it was a very generous portion and probably one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend. Great location and lovely staff.

If I could rate The Lifeboat Inn 6 stars I would. Hands down the most delicious and well priced food I’ve had in a very long time. Heads up that portion size is large, produce is local and clearly prepared with love. Welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We chose the garden area to dine in since the weather and location were memorable. Looking forward to a return visit. Thanks to all the staff.

I've been wanting to visit for a while now. I was not disappointed service was excellent and I had the nicest fish and chips I think I've ever had. Can't wait to go back 😊
