The best restaurants in Courtmacsherry

04/06/2026: We stayed in the cottages. They are spacious and have great views, but they are dated and a bit worn out. Lots of stuff didn't work properly (shower, dishwasher, smart tv). It is very basic accommodation in the cottages, but if you accept and expect this, there is plenty to enjoy here. Staff at the bar and restaurant were great. We also loved the location. Very peaceful and scenic.

We received an incredibly warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was fantastic: spacious, spotlessly clean, and with a cozy, typically Irish charm that immediately made us feel at home. This room definitely deserves more stars! We also tried the hotel's restaurant and were delighted. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, and the food was simply outstanding. In short: A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We would book this hotel again in a heartbeat – next time definitely for several days or even a whole week! 10/08/2026: came here as a group of five on Sunday, was appalled at how unengaged and downright annoyed the staff were with us from the get go. as someone who worked in the service industry before i know what its like to dislike your job and all that jazz that comes with being a waitress, so it was even more shocking to see how almost all of the girls were treating us. the food was subpar, fine at best. there are a lot of wasps around if you're sitting outside, so just be mindful of that.
