I had the pleasure today at 2.30pm Sunday 16th August 2026 to experience the cuisine of The Lifeboat Eaterie. The fresh crab served upon their newly baked sodabread 💯 exquisite perfection. I wholeheartedly endorse their courtesy, kindness and West Cork hospitality. Purist joy amid the chaos of life.

We are here a few weeks back. It was our fist time visiting courtmacsherry and had to try this restaurant as we had heard lots about it! So glad we did, the food was amazing and lots on the menu to choose from. Would highly recommend

24/06/2026: Amazing location My father and I turned up late and the kitchen had closed but they were good enough to do us a pizza each which was delicious Common areas of the hotel were lovely as was the breakfast Room could do with updating and the shower wasn’t amazing but over all a very positive experience
04/06/2026: We stayed in the cottages. They are spacious and have great views, but they are dated and a bit worn out. Lots of stuff didn't work properly (shower, dishwasher, smart tv). It is very basic accommodation in the cottages, but if you accept and expect this, there is plenty to enjoy here. Staff at the bar and restaurant were great. We also loved the location. Very peaceful and scenic.

21/07/2026: Really gorgeous setting any time of year but on a beautiful sunny day..... spectacular! Very kind efficient staff. Food & coffee is great.
