Seafood heaven at The Long Dock! 🦐🦪
Fresh oysters, juicy garlic prawns, and crispy bread, absolutely delicious.
We enjoyed the outdoor seating with our dog and a glass of rosé.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, perfect for seafood lovers!

A fabulous restaurant with the most amazing Irish Stew, and Coddle starter.

Delicious food, and the staff is very friendly. There's a small shop where you can buy local products. The music occasionally plays Irish, which is perfectly in keeping with the surroundings. Unfortunately, we couldn't order the fish-and-sea-tower; they have to prepare it in advance and didn't have all the fish varieties (tip: reserve in advance).

We were a party of 5 including 1 teenager. The food was delicious, the star of the show being the prawn, chorizo and garlic potatoes.
The servers were charming and attentive.
A very good night was had by all.

Excellent place. We had fantastic seafood chowder, which we haven't found anywhere else since—at least not as good. The oysters were lovely, large, and delicious. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the vegetables, which were frozen and inedible.

A serious foodie experience was served up at The Long Dock in Carrigaholt. Everything from the oysters to the seafood chowder and the main courses of freshly battered fish and chips as well as the beef stew were absolutely superb. Such a lovely warm and inviting pub restaurant with exceptional staff made this dining experience one to remember. Highly recommend a stop off here if you are visiting the area. They also have the best pint of the black stuff !

I spotted this place on a drive years ago when I lived in Kerry, but it was winter and they were closed. Fast forward to today, home from Australia and all I can say is, Long Dock you were worth the wait! Sheena was an absolute delight, and a must have employee! The food was amazing. I am home (in Kerry) for three weeks and I'm trying to work out how many more visits I can pack in before I leave. Carrigaholt, you have a gem right here!

We were staying in Carrigaholt and ate here twice. My wife is Coeliac and they were incredibly accommodating. Even made a special gluten free garlic bread. Fish specials were amazing and the staff were so friendly. Love it and will be back again

My wife and I were on our way home from the Bridges of Ross and decided to stop in for a drink and ended up having a meal as well. Nice pub, good food and friendly staff. We kept it simple and both had the fish and chips. The fish was fresh cod, the batter was light and the chips were well done. There was a nice salad with it too. We saw other food pass to tables and it all looked good. We won't hesitate to come back here.
