The Long Dock in

Nothing less than we expected from this charming rural pub on our peninsula visit. Great fresh fish and chicken, good local beers, and a cosy welcoming interior. The chowder was a touch on the salty side with a thicker texture, but still lovely if that’s how you like it. A lovely spot to warm up and enjoy some proper comfort food.

Very good experience, staff was very good and knowledgeable, food was fantastic and the IPA beer was very nice, would definitely come back just for the food, lovely little Irish bar.

We loved every bit of our experience at The Long Dock Pub, from the lovely and accommodating staff to the meatiest, freshest, and most delicate oysters we’ve ever tried! The seafood chowder was absolutely amazing, and the main dish was just as impressive. Another honorable mention goes to the Ros Cider from Cork — this apple–rhubarb cider was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too dry, wonderfully refreshing and delicious. All and all, I’d love to come back one day for more oysters and drink! Thanks for having us

We had our wedding dinner at the Long Dock in September, after getting married at the lighthouse. It was such an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to Imelda and the rest of the team! Imelda and Tony made the entire wedding dinner process so easy from our initial meeting, and on our wedding the day, the food was absolutely wonderful, and the service was flawless. The place also has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and every one of our guests had an amazing time and an fantastic dinner. We can't recommend The Long Dock highly enough!

I'd call it a fish place, but they have other things on the menu. We had lunch and dinner here today and enjoyed both. It's like an old world cottage. I generally don't eat fish, but had the Hake and it was nice.

Incredible! This pub is amazing! Everything is excellent! It's worth making a detour to taste their food! We were lucky enough to eat there for lunch and dinner, and it was a real treat. Excellent lobster platter, wonderfully prepared fish, and desserts to die for.

Given the prices, I would have expected larger portions. Anyone who comes here even half-hungry should plan on ordering at least an appetizer – hence one star deduction. But the food tastes great!

What a hoot this place is. Fantastic! A foodies dream. We walked in just after opening for lunch. Absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere and ambiance are no less. Just great.

Seafood heaven at The Long Dock! 🦐🦪 Fresh oysters, juicy garlic prawns, and crispy bread, absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with our dog and a glass of rosé. Great food, lovely atmosphere, perfect for seafood lovers!
