Pints are 3 times the price of weatherspoons and not as nice. This birth moretty taste bad compared to the portetti in spoons. Feel a headache coming on. We only go here because of the sunny corner. I'm growing to hate this place.
The bar man was really nice.
Great little pub and cute snug!

I had lunch here today. A quiet wednesday. Lovely eclectic decor, much looked original. Friendly barman, helpful and informative. I had the Thai red chicken curry which was delicious! Loads of chicken, lovely creamy sauce with al dente vegetables - perfect. I had half a Guinness, though I don't like it in UK but this was lovely. A real treasure of a place.

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was chill, and a comedienne was doing a set in the other room.
Sadly, the waitress was either super bored or just not wanting to put out any energy. She didn't check up to make sure all was well. Wrong service for the atmosphere: sorry to say.

This restaurant located in the center of Dublin offers authentic Irish grilled meat. If you visit on certain days (Sunday-Wednesday), you can take advantage of the €49 promotion for two lava stone grilled steaks, side dishes, and two glasses of wine or Coke.

The Lotts is exactly the kind of Dublin pub many visitors hope to find but rarely do. From the outside alone, with its colourful red and green facade on the corner of Lower Liffey Street, it already feels like part of the city’s character. Inside, it combines traditional Irish pub atmosphere with a surprisingly spacious and modern restaurant area in the back.
What makes the place special is the balance. It still feels authentic and local, but at the same time welcoming and easygoing for visitors. The pub is also known for its historic “snug”, one of the smallest traditional bar spaces in Dublin, which adds even more charm and history to the place.
Food was genuinely very good for such a central pub location. Great steaks, proper Irish comfort food and a lively atmosphere without becoming overwhelming. Whether you stop for a Guinness, dinner or just to experience a classic Dublin pub, The Lotts absolutely delivers. One of the places that really stays in your memory after visiting the city.
