Recently stayed at the Marine. Derek, the manager really helpful even letting us know where we could have a full Irish Breakfast at another location close by. Room was very comfortble and fabulous Vista of the sea and old castle. Ideal spot from where to re-visit Ballybunion.

I have had lovely coffee here, and today I enjoyed a very nice lunch. Pulled pork toastie, gorgeous fresh coleslaw and some muffins. Dog friendly too which is a huge bonus 🐶 ✨

Had a lovely stay in the Marine! I booked two nights for my husband and myself. My husband was sick on the day and couldn’t come, and the Marine was nice enough to reduce the rate to a 1 person rate on check in! I didn’t even have to ask. Really impressed by the service and would definitely stay again. The food in the cafe is lovely too.

I only went there to get a coffee which was good. The food and drink selection seemed really great, if i was hungry i would probably have got something too. The ladies toilet was not the best tho because i couldn't get the toilet paper out and the hand dryer wasn't working

Had a lovely weekend at the Marine Hotel. Derek was simply fantastic and followed up on my booking and rang to see when we would arrive. Rooms were immaculate and very good standard. The cafe downstairs was a lovely bonus with great food and beautiful views over the beach at BallyB. Loved it.

28/09/2025: We had such a lovely experience at Namir restaurant! The fish and chips were beautifully fresh and full of flavor — honestly one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the server lady was so kind and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the generosity and kindness of the owner, who went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. A true hidden gem — we’ll definitely be back!

09/10/2025: McMunns restaurant was our favourite restaurant on our Ireland trip! The food was sensational, could not fault it. The drinks, the service, everything was fantastic. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ballybunion.
