This place is amazing! The dinner ( which was included in our stay) was (unexpectedly for us) like Micheline star restaurant dinner - beautiful and sooo delicious, starting from bread& butter and till the last bite. We would definitely come back to eat there again. Our room was nice and cosy, the staff were very welcoming and kind. Lovely stay, big thanks to The Mustard Seed House!

Fabulous place for a weekend getaway. Amazing food in the restaurant and very attentive service all through the day in all the lovely sitting areas. Beautiful old style grand bedrooms, well kitted out and comfortable.

The Mustard Seed / Echo Lodge was the absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland, and stands highly across all of our holidays ever. The hospitality / hosting was truly exceptional, with members of staff making you feel at home with their natural charm and character. The food was also unparalleled, with different menus each night, all delicious. The rooms were beautifully and characterfully appointed. The gardens were lovely to explore also. I highly highly recommend to anyone considering a visit.

Stayed for one night bed, breakfast and dinner with my good friend. We had 2 single rooms, bed and pillows were so comfortable. Everything catered for in the room. Fabulous old world charming building, with its own orchard and garden growing herbs, vegetables, flowers etc. The food was amazing. Dinner menu had varied choices to suit and was presented so well. The homemade bread was fabulous. I had scallop for starter and Monkfish for mains and a rhubarb dessert. All delicious. My friend had a fish starter and rack of lamb. Potato and vegetable served on the side along with a cheese board. Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our evening. The owner John Edward hands on approach is wonderful, a true professional 👏 and to all his team. There was a personal friendly feel. I would definitely go back there again. Great value for money. It would be a very special place for a small wedding, family get together, or friends gathering for a night or two. We bumped into old friends of mine who joined us in the drawing room for a great catch up. Added bonus to our lovely stay at The Mustard Seed. They accept blue book vouchers too.
