The Oar Bar in Crosshaven

A very warm welcome on a very cold Sunday in January , food was exceptional and full of flavour. My wife and I opted for the monkfish special with prawns and scallops which was delicious, kids had the kids fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce great value and our eldest Tadhg said it was the best yet. Highly recommend.

Food was devine. We ordered from the Xmas menu. Rhubarb crumble was beautiful.

Top class spot . Great place to spend a day with pool, darts + plenty tv’s . One of the best pints in knocknagore . Very efficient staff if you only have couple minutes to get in + out .

Pretty little bar with restaurant on the 1st floor. Great views of the river and harbor at Crosshaven. Clear menu, everything is fresh and tastes great. The staff is very friendly, always attentive without being intrusive. The prices are ok too. Very clear recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

Went there on Friday night for a comedy gig. Paid €45 for 2 tickets, arrived early and had a couple of drinks before the gig. Lovely pub and bar staff. Watched as a lot of other people arrived with no tickets and were allowed in. Makes a mockery of the people that did buy the tickets. A number of people told us they were allowed in with no ticket...In future just turn up without purchasing.

Stopped off here during a private harbour cruise aboard a rib. It was a lovely day so our cruise was great. We had a table booked for nine people. The service was excellent for a start and our drinks arrived promptly after ordering. The menu is perfect. There’s enough variety to satisfy everyone. I had fish and chips with puréed peas. It was delicious and everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We had a main course and drinks for about €200 total which was very good value. Highly recommended.
