The Old Bank in Dungarvan

Quiet on a Bank holiday Saturday lunchtime. Could be something to do with the cost of dishes!! Nice food but costly and served in very small portions.

Lovely food, a great atmosphere. Here for a family gathering so we were given a private room with a lovely set up, the staff were great, so friendly and attentive. Have been here a couple of times and it's noticeable how nice the staff are. Will certainly go back.

Would highly recommend. We were in Dungarvan for the weekend with our 2 small children. We wandered into the Old Bank and were delighted we did. The children’s menu had the usual options but when the food arrived we were delighted. The quality of food was a notch and above the normal stuff served to children. It was delicious real fish goujons with thick cut chips. No frozen fish fingers here! The portions were great size as well (our children are small so didn’t finish but plenty to feed older children). It wasn’t just the kids menu that was good, our own food was delicious as well. Great place for a family meal.

Only marking the atmosphere down because we were in there early,so don't think it's a negative,had a bite to eat and could not fault it one bit.Service was also prompt and that's where we got introduced to Martin.Now,if you could bottle the friendliness,attention to detail that he showed,then most businesses would be a success.We then ventured in for cocktails.No use even trying to explain how good they were,highly recommended the bank.

We had an amazing experience. The interior ambiance is so warm and welcoming and the meal complemented this perfectly.

Recently celebrated my brothers wedding reception at the Old Bank, seeped with history with an amazing interior and decor. A beautiful view of the water and the pier. Food was superb and the staff could not have been more helpful. Top class and highly recommended. Sincere thanks to all the staff at the Old Bank, an occasion we'll never forget.

We just got in after 3pm when the kitchen closes, but the chef kept it open and we were able to have a lovely fish pie and veg curry and continue on our journey. Thanks to the manager for asking the chef to keep the kitchen open 5*

Had a lovely meal here yesterday with friends. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Martin and staff were more than helpful and professional. We will definitely be back.
