The Old Barracks on the Dock Road is one of the go-to places for great coffee in Limerick. I'm not a coffee aficionado but a friend of mine is and it is she who has introduced me to TOB and good coffee. I really admire what the owner Alan has done and achieved so far.

Excellent coffee, easily best cup I had in Limerick. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. A great range of beans and equipment available. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Limerick.

I come here every week and it is consistently the best coffee I've ever had. I can't get a coffee like it anywhere else. The flavour & quality of the coffee is exceptional! I usually always get an Americano and I love that the service is so quick and efficient so I'm never waiting any time at all. All the staff are always so nice & helpful & I love that it's dog friendly & the plant based treats are SO good! Customer for life!

28/05/2026: This Starbucks is always really quick with orders, and my drinks are consistently made well, which I appreciate. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the atmosphere can sometimes feel a little unwelcoming. Some staff members come across as quite serious or not very approachable, which can make the experience feel a bit awkward at times. I understand customer service can be a tough job, but a friendlier atmosphere would make a big difference. Overall, it’s a reliable place for a coffee, and the speed of service is excellent.

01/06/2026: I wanted a pizza at 11 PM. No way. Only a doner box. It was mediocre. The people who came after me got pizzas. Uncool. But the sauce on the plate was good. The rest was okay. I thought it was a gyro. But of course, after nine Guinnesses, it was delicious.
