Friendly service and good food. Went back second evening and was just as good.

this is a five star place all day long.the staff are so friendly and helpful the bar staff and food servers work together and are quick and attentive you will struggle to decide which one to tip there so good.the food,well i been back here 4 times in the last 3 weeks and tried different dishes each time could not find anything to complain about all gorgeous. the roast lamb.and the cod and chips are a must to try .......keep up the good work

We went to the Old House for dinner but didn't know Ireland would be playing England and it would be televised in the pub, so, as you can imagine, it was a bit loud! However, the service was superb, as was the food. A delicious homemade vegetable soup followed by a substantial roast dinner. If you want somewhere quiet to eat, then look elsewhere, but if you want a really good homecooked meal in a great atmosphere, then The Old House is for you!

We wanted something to eat Sunday at 3 pm walking around Arklow and hit on this Bar with a restaurant , walked in and could see was very busy , was a bit apprehensive to stay , but we did any way, Wow , food was excellent. and service was first class , we were asked 3 times while eating was everything ok , such I lovely atmosphere there , they deffo know what there doing here , well done

Irish pub with good value for money. I ordered a classic fish and chips, which came with salad. The team was very friendly, fast service.

Laura and Jack working here are such an asset to the Old House,so personable and warm,just lovely people who take great pride in their work as well as being so attentive, the food is just so so tasty with large portions being served in a great ambient setting, outdoor and indoor dining is available and the premises, toilets are spotlessly clean,the head barman Shane is obviously very experienced at his job as was evidenced by his rapport with the customers,delicious food and great value for money, 2 glasses of wine, a starter and 2 mains including 2 lime cordials for 53 euro,lovely to see the place very busy for a wednesday, well done to all concerned and thank you.
