The Old Ship in Arklow

Food was very nice. I have had breakfast there which was a great hangover cure plus a meal in the evening which was great value and very tasty. Staff here are very welcoming

Friendly service and nice fish for a pub lunch

We had an enjoyable lunch here. Me and my mam both got the mushroom smoked bacon toast starter and it was so good. The service is great. You don't feel rushed sitting and chatting after you are done your food.

We popped in for a late lunch/early dinner and were not disappointed! Our server was fun, the beer was delicious, and the food was outstanding. We each ordered the fish box (yum!), and for starters the butternut squash soup (wow) and the mushroom and smoked bacon on ciabatta were both fantastic!

Another fantastic family meal at The Old Ship. Food was immaculately prepared and presented, with lovely staff and very reasonably priced. Best pub grub in the town.

Great atmosphere, great food and service was brilliant. Bernie (our waitress) was really lovely along with the two barmen who served us. My 10 year old nephew even commented on how nice everyone was to him. Good pint of Guinness too!! Would highly recommend.

Service as always was amazing. My mother got the BBQ loaded fries and said it was the best meal she has had in a long time. I got the beef burger which was massive and so nice. We also got the baby bowl for my son. Was lovely and he ate loads but what was amazing is they charged only €2 for a massive bowl. Was so nice to see and other places can learn from that.
