Great restaurant food was great and plenty of it !

Held a graduation party here and it was simply amazing. Debbie and all the wonderful staff went that extra mile to make our day special. We had decided on a set menu so there was place names and menus provided, which was a lovely touch. We were placed in a back section so it felt like we had the place to ourselves - granted it was an afternoon midweek meal.The party was 13 adults and 2 kids (6 & 3) and although the kids menu was prearranged also, the kids wanted something different on the day and they were accommodated with no fuss. In fact, the staff were excellent with the kids who loved the attention. The food was amazing. The starters were Vol au vonts/soup, the mains were salmon/turkey and ham and desserts apple tart/cheesecake - and there was loads of it. It was private enough to partake in a speech to say thanks to those attending and having an old family connection to Debbie there was drinks laid out for the toast that were part of a gift, which was a lovely lovely gift and much appreciated. I couldn't recommend anywhere better for the type of service we received from the first enquiry til we left. Thanks again so much ❤️

We wanted to pop in here many times and finally we made it. You could feel and smell Christmas at the very first step. Clean and tidy place. After we were seated we were informed about the dishes of the day. We ordered (4 people) soup of the day (veg), chowder, Cesar salad, pasta of the day (Cajun), Mexican burger with chips and kids burger with chips. Time between order and serv very good, food fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed of every bite. Really nice and old place, well managed. Money wise also very good. Didn't try deserts cause we were full 😉 We will back there for sure. Oh yes, book the table cause they are not staying empty too long...

Went with my 9 year daughter after Mass. She delighted with the treat , so was I, definitely recommend, always good.

In a nutshell, the food was mediocre. The Cajun chicken burger was good but the roast pork dinner was very disappointing. The pork was fine but the mashed potatoes were lumpy. They were also unwelcome as I had asked for chips. The lot came smothered in a very strong tasting dark gravy that overpowered everything. Why was the gravy not served in the side so as to allow the diner to decide how much if any they wanted? The roast potatoes were a joke. A thin veneer of roast outer that was not crunchy and quite bland. The worst bit was the service. It took 15 minutes before we were asked for our order. Our drinks arrived 15 minutes after our order was taken and our food arrived further 10 minutes later. When the food was served we had no cutlery. A request for same resulted in the waitress going behind the counter and starting a chat with a colleague. We had to ask again. Also no butter or apple sauce was provided until we asked. There was only butter. No sauce. Finally, there were no napkins provided. We wouldn’t condemn the place outright but it could be so much better an experience than we had.

Came here for dinner with my family as I was visiting my brother who lives in Inch and we always stop off here for drinks and food The food was amazing and the staff are really friendly and attentive Would highly recommend this pub for any occasion
