Service staff the waitresses were lovely and the pints are really nice and it's nice on the inside good atmosphere but by god that food is absolutely brutal, the chef would want to go away and become a barber or something because genuinely his passion is nowhere near that menu. That food feels like it's just sitting in an oven waiting for it's next victim, bland, tasteless ive had better turkey our of a petrol station carvery. I'd say this place is busy just because there's not much else around. Again I would like to say the service staff and the atmosphere and pints are 10/10 but food is seriously lacking.

Popped in on our travels in the late morning for Tea and Toast, everything was lovely, we were served graciously, lovely pup, would recommend it.

Walked in there about a week ago chancing and got seats, food is delicious, and place is really cool. Worth a visit.
Hi, This review is for the Old Thatch bar, and is greatly deserved.
My Wife and I stopped there for lunch on our way back from Youghal.
It was a bit late for lunch, but that was no problem for out server.
She advised on the different menu items and what would suit us best.
She recommended the wraps and the toasted specials..
They were huge and very reasonably priced. Delicious ..
Bathrooms were spotless.
If y are passing through Killeagh, be sure to give it a call.
You will not be disappointed.

Always wanted to stop here, maybe it's the cool traditional thatch roof. Anyway, seemed like a good stop for my maiden cycle on the new Midleton to Youghal Greenway. The pubs interior has rustic charm as anticipated. Anyway, was floored by €11.10 for a lackluster Americano and a slender slice of apple tart. The presentation was very nice but it was short on flavour. Well, my curiousity was settled, but once was enough.
