We were attending a wedding and stayed in the associated hotel (The Cliff at Lyons) on an inclusive package. Their main restaurant (The Mill) is separately reviewed.
We took breakfast here both Saturday and Sunday. We were not expecting to have lunch either day, so ordered the full Irish breakfast both days, although there was a decent choice of lighter dishes . This was a major repast. Orange juice and a compote of fruit was served immediately and good despite most fruit being out of season, the full Irish breakfast was authentic, great and was served with an afternoon tea type stand heaped with toast, Guiness soda bread, scones, croisants and pain au chocolat, all stiil warm. Super coffee and tea. Service very good, quick and efficient, especially on the Sunday when we had to leave to catch a plane. The walk in price for this is high, but you will get your money's worth. Lovely ambience, especially in the morning sun.
The wedding breakfast was also served in here (from about 17:30) after canapes in teh garden. This too was excellent, especially for a group cater, however I will not be reviewing this as it was not my party, nor did I pay for it.
