The Overdraught in Minane bridge

Nice country pub atmosphere with a fire lite stove. The service was professional. I ordered a steak which was overcooked first and was taken back, then it was undercooked on the second attempt. I ended up getting a burger and chips which I wasn’t charged for which I felt was the good way of dealing with the situation.

Best meal of our trip to Ireland, and we ate many good meals. The blade steak was TO. DIE. FOR. The toffee cheesecake dessert, mouthwatering. The staff was friendly and accommodated our questions. We stumbled upon this place, and boy are we thankful we did!!

Went for a birthday lunch from Clonakilty and it was well worth the trip. Food was very good and generous, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The feather blade of beef just feel apart and melted in the mouth. Only slight issue was that the room was not warm despite the stove going, so they need to look at that. Quality and value are far above anywhere in Kinsale or Clonakilty, will definitely be back.

Went out to the Overdraught last Friday as a group of 10 to celebrate Thanksgiving, food was fantastic and plentiful, staff were attentive and very courteous , highly recommend the place.

Visited there lately, the food was fabulous. And the portions were very generous. Too generous for me. I highly recommend the Overdraught. It deserves our support to keep it in the community.

Great to see the Overdraught back up and running. Menu much better with Quality over quantity of options. The feather blade beef was excellent and great value. Guinness was good! They accommodated a simple cheese burger for a fussy kid that was not an option on the kids menu also which I want to say thank you again for doing. The same great quality as the main double smash burger on the menu so plate was licked clean! The bar is a beautiful room that oozes real Irish bar and old-world charm - it would be five stars for atmosphere if the big beautiful fire stove was lit. Would take the coziness to a level that would make people would come far and wide to have lovely cozy dinner or weekend lunch. They had several candles lit which was lovely but nothing beats a radiating fire! Plenty of firewood in the woods behind - just saying!

My wife and I went to the Overdraught for Sunday dinner. I hadn't been there in a few years and I must say It was a great experience. Great menu options, great service. Will definitely be back!

Had dinner there yesterday ,and honestly it was amazing. Staff was lovely ,always making sure that we are ok. I definitely recommend this restaurant as we do not have many great places like the overdraught in area:)
