Called in for breakfast during the week. Had mushrooms on toast. This was definitely one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in years. Chestnut mushrooms in a fabulous cream/cheese/ wine sauce on lovely vienna bread. This is really worth a stopover in Portlaoise. 5* food, great customer service and good value for money.

Tap water glasses need a better wash, or maybe check the dishwasher, glass full of old fingerprints and lipstick. Sandwich was really delicious, but when I asked why no side salad I was told that it was an option, which you can't find it on the menu. Maybe my own preference, but the sambo was served on this small semi-white plate, very plain, few green and a dressing could've done miracles. Extremely polity staff, well done 👏

The Pantry has always been a wonderful place to go to for a bite to eat...the staff are an absolute breath of fresh air...no glum faces from the staff and everyone in such a good mood...if the staff are happy..the food is excellent then the customers are happy and from what I saw...the customer comes first...thank you ladies....kudos to the 👩‍🍳 chef 👏 and the Pantry highly recommended..🤗
