Super hotel for all age groups. Efficient extremely friendly staff who went beyond the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Rooms excellent. We didn't visit the pool, etc but we could see it was being fully utilised by the other guests

As I am disabled, I asked for a ground floor room and my expectations were far out past when we were given a lovely room with disabled facilities. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and the food was good. A lovely place to stay. I would recommend it to anybody.

We had a great stay at the Talbot two nights ago, on our way through Midleton. The friendly and helpful staff were our first impression as we were greeted straight away and helped to our rooms. The room itself was huge and well appointed with comfortable beds and linen. The bathroom was also very big and elegant, with high quality products provided.
I enjoyed a nightcap in the lively bar and a great sleep. With plentiful parking and a central location, you can't do better than this and the price was extremely reasonable.
Highly recommended if you're visiting the distillery or travelling for work.
Check out The Grumpy Bakers for the best pastries on planet earth - it's about a ten minute walk down the road.
Can't wait to come back to Midleton again - thanks for a lovely stay.

You booked me into room 235 the honeymoon suite. Very nice and a pleasant room just felt a little odd as i was on my own. Hopefully next time i stay you will allocate the same room and maybe i will bring the wife as well

We stayed overnight in a large double room. The room was large and airy and very clean, tea and coffee facilities as standard. The wifi was a good speed. We had dinner in the restaurant, there's a lot to choose from on the menu ,the food was good and the staff were lovely. Breakfast is a feast with plenty of choice, full fry, Continental, fruit and cereal. The hotel is right in the town which makes it great for shopping or just going walking. The only downfall is it's a smaller hotel so you're never far from the banquet hall and parties can go on late.

I attended a gathering here after a funeral yesterday. I was a guest and not hosting the event but felt inspired to review to give credit where credit was due. I was very impressed by the level of service. I made contact with several staff members over the course of a couple of hours. Each one was warm, obliging and efficient. I say this as one who, worked in hospitality many years ago myself, and has since had the good fortune to enjoy many five star and fine dining experiences. The level of service I experienced rivals that of any five star hotel I been in. Well done team.

Another poor experience this afternoon…. Lukewarm food and cold vegetables…. The waitress did not ask while we were eating about our food … also cool flat whites ..….And finally we were not given our cinema tickets…..I did advise this information to a group last week…. So why bother
