The Park Cafe Bar in Midleton

The Talbot Midleton is a great hotel in a good location with a bus stop right outside. All of the staff that we met were friendly and professional whatever their job. We had lovely food in the bar and there was a good selection for breakfast. Our room was warm and comfortable. There is just one thing that I don't like and that is the shower curtain! A nice bath screen would be so much better. As repeat guests We once again totally enjoyed our stay and we'll be back. Thank you and well done everyone at the Talbot Midleton.

We were a family of 24 staying overnight and attending the Christmas party. What a great night from start to finish. From the minute we arrived at check in the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd Christmas staying here and we will definitely be back next year. A wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable. All the rooms were beautiful too.

Our experience was amazing and lovely breakfast

Loved this hotel, very clean, friendly receptionist, lovely pool the only thing was beds were so uncomfortable- even the kids were complaining how bad they were. Also we were also close to a function room where there was a party however it wasn’t that loud but still extremely hard to sleep

The room was spacious, and the shower was quite decent. The service hours for breakfast was no the best. Not really a walking distance to town centre, and the halls smell like cigarettes. The food was quite poor, specially for its price. Breakfast was really overcooked and dry. Staff was friendly, just lack attention and kept forgetting orders at the bar/restaurant. A good 3 stars hotel, by far not a decent 4 stars. Couldn't recommend for its price.

Very comfortable, large rooms, comfortable bed. Very good value for money. Breakfast is the only thing that falls a little short.

Our stay absolutely exceeded expectations. We got a very reasonable rate and I had set my expectations according to that. The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Our dinner was fabulous and again, very reasonable. The breakfast was lovely and had everything you could need. I couldn’t think of one thing they could improve on.

My stay at the Talbot Hotel Midleton was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, especially by Andrea Kadović at reception, whose friendly attitude and efficiency made a wonderful first impression. The bar and restaurant teams were equally outstanding, offering excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend the Talbot Hotel Midleton to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

Bedroom and en-suite very very clean. Food was excellent. The carvery was very good. Staff very nice and friendly.
