A lovely spot looking out on river ..walking distance to town (about 15mins)from the minute you enter the hotel ,it's welcoming,the girls on reception, housekeeping and bar and restaurant staff are so friendly and nothing is too much bother .pool facilities great too

In my opinion this is a 3 star hotel, I'm not sure how it is rated 4 star when the seating is very uncomfortable in the bar area and several tears in the seats, the seating is well worn!

Lovely stay. Staff delightful and engaging. Nice food. Comfortable room. Great leisure centre. Loved everything.

Stayed there will playing golf in Dungarvan and Gold Coast golf clubs. Very well located, nice rooms decent food. What more could you ask for.

I loved staying here and would highly recommend anyone visiting Dungarvan to stay at this hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are second to none. I had a lovely lady maybe housemaids manager knock on the door taking the time to ask me if everything was ok for us in our room. I just thought that was lovely. A lot of places I haven't experienced that. We had our breakfasts in our room on both mornings beautifully presented, and again the staff were lovely and cheerful with warm smiles. Again genuine care for guests. Top marks to the chef's who work here for the delicious food and presentation of same. Reception staff are absolutely wonderful, again extremely friendly and down to earth, genuinely interested in their guests stay at the hotel. Met a lovely lady at reception this morning when I was leaving and she couldn't have been nicer in her manner. Very natural and professional at the same time. I don't see this often so I have to say, this hotel in particular have very genuine caring staff. It's what makes the difference I believe in providing guests with a very home from home stay. The hotel is beautiful but I definitely think the staff make it, so thank you all for making our stay a pleasure. We will be returning no doubt about that.

Great hotel ideal location rooms lovely and clean

Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends. Allocated a triple room with 3 beds, which was great as I have found most hotels have a double and single in "triple" room. Staff are lovely. Dinner in the bar was really good with great options on the set menu. Very nice swimming pool. Breakfast was initially chaotic, we followed a sign in hotel lobby and went into a very noisy, busy room: people darting about everywhere, no queueing, no bowls or spoons etc, and no staff in the room to ask for anything. We then realized we were in a dining room with a large tour group. We eventually found the correct dining room where thankfully peace reigned! Again, food was good with lots of choice and staff helpful. Better signposting for breakfast (and possibly more staff in the tour group diningroom!)would be very useful. Thanks for a lovely stay which was great value too!

This was a beautiful hotel we were there about 20 years ago it has and changed since I would reamend this hotel to friends we were in the corrigendum suite
