The Pig and Heifer Amiens in Dublin

One of the few surviving places in Dublin that still has a bit of character and doesn’t look like the entire premises was ordered from IKEA. The sandwiches are delicious, the staff are sound and always up for a bit of craic, and the place has a genuinely relaxed, old-school feel to it. Highly recommend.

Overrated in my opinion; the bread was just regular bagged bread. It was like a sandwich you could make yourself at home. ❤️‍🩹 The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The opening hours are incorrect; it opens an hour later.

Popped in for a bite before my train, just asking for a vegetarian sandwich of some kind. What they made was outstanding and the staff were so kind. What an excellent find. Thank you!

The staff here are so lovely! Service with a smile! Also the New York Reuben has to be up there as one of the best sandwiches in Dublin. It is so delicious and the perfect balance of everything. Not one to be missed!

Mile High Club is by far the best NY style deli sandwich in Dublin. Generous portion, great value and super friendly staff!

I ate at the Pig and Heifer for lunch on a Tuesday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The wait staff was very friendly and fast and the sandwich was super delicious. I ordered the provincial Reuben which has pastrami, goat cheese and honey for a very unique taste. There is limited seating inside but I was able to dine in.

A fantastic place to grab a bite before your train. All the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order, and the sandwiches are surprisingly filling. The man who makes them is incredibly friendly; it's like stepping back in time to when things were made with care. Highly recommended.

Myself and my husband popped in this morning to get 2x sandwiches and 2x coffees. Service, hospitality and the food was amazing! The guy making the sandwiches is so lovely and friendly and you can tell by the quality of sandwiches that he cares about what he makes. We will definitely be back ❤️

Fresh food, fantastic banter! We stumbled on this please while visiting from the States. This place has both fantastic food and a genuinely welcoming experience. The sandwiches are freshly made-to-order and delicious. The team working behind the counter kept us entertained with their dry wit and sharp humor.
