The Tower Cafe in Dublin

Nice place to visit although I didn't really know the buried characters very well. Very careful, with tourist office included (basic guide in Spanish for €2.50). Free entry bathrooms.

A very helpful young woman on the information desk helped me find burial places of family members. Wonderful, efficient service.

You should plan it when visiting Dublin. Worth seeing

Dubious at first, not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be an enjoyable experience. O'Donavon Rossa's graveside, was at the start, and an orator gave a very powerful rendition of the speech given by Pauric Pearse at O'Donnavon Rossa's funeral. He received a generous round of applause and deservedly so.Nial Oman was our very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. He was also a good speaker and regularly added relevant humour in his historical knowledge of Glasnevin Cemetery. The tour takes approximately 90min, it was over in the blink of an eye. There's also a visitor's centre, which has some interesting historical exhibits and information, souvenirs, cafeteria and rest rooms. It's well worth a visit!

Very interesting visit. Great history explained in the museum and really interesting walk. Climb to the top of the round tower and see a great view of the city.

Glasnevin is a cemetery near Dublin. Located next to the Botanical garden. It is a large cemetery with many old graves. These graves are largely being restored.
