This is a great deli! Definitely a local favorite judging from the line out the door. A wide range of meats and cheeses with an assortment of condiments. Very reasonable prices. Even at what seemed the height of the lunch rush, I got my sandwich in about 15 minutes. Mostly a take away spot, though there are four tables with 2 chairs each.

Amazing selection for sandwiches and deli things! Great value for money and the staff are very good. I specially love their pastrami melt đŸ€€the place is pretty much clean and well maintained too.

We ordered chicken mozzarella pesto and hot beef. They were delicious! And the bread was amazing. The place is small but worth it! You can order takeout.

The Pig and Heifer has that genuine, family-owned feel that instantly makes you feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the people behind the counter actually care about what they’re serving. The atmosphere is simple, friendly, and no-nonsense, exactly what a sandwich shop should be. I stopped in for a sandwich and was really impressed. Fresh ingredients, great bread, generous portions, and everything put together with care. It’s hearty, satisfying food without trying too hard, and you can see why locals keep coming back.

Kumpir Café

28/10/2025: Pancakes super oversweet with nutella. Coffee low quality
25/10/2025: Loved this place for breakfast. Mango smoothie was the hit for the kids. Pancakes were huge so one pancake between both kids was enough. Portions are great to start the day - couldn’t finish them! Only negatives: 1. there was a flickering light that was mildly disappointing. 2. The poached egg was just 10/20 seconds undercooked. But the flavours of all the dishes were smashing! Would come back again.

Mister S

10/05/2026: Excellent spot. The food, the staff and overall vibe is so good. Been a couple times, most recently sitting on the high stool seats by the window. Everything we ordered was delicious, the spring rolls, tartare, prawns, steak cooked to perfection, hispi cabbage was the nicest I've had, anywhere. Looking forward to our return.
08/05/2026: Mister S was my favorite meal during my 6 day stay in Ireland. I'm honestly kind of devastated that I had a superlative pork chop and it's an ocean away from where I live. I dined alone, which I don't recommend because there were many other dishes I wanted to try đŸ„Č - the shrimp, the tartare, the steak, the list goes on. The portions are sizable and generally I think the menu is well suited for sharing. I ordered the tuna carpaccio, the pork chop, and a side of potatoes. The tuna was very good. The pork chop though was superb - one of the very best I've had in my life - smoky, delicious glaze, fat melting in my mouth. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. And I'm dying to try that steak. As an extra bonus the price was very reasonable considering this is Dublin!
