The Plaza in Cork

Food was lovely and very reasonable kids meal and desert €10 I got sicilian chicken was lovely 😍 my son had steak sandwich and pepper sauce he said was lovely 😍 👌

Had the jumbo fry was decent but the prices on there website could do with a big update 8 Vs 13 euro, the orange juice was mank and was like old mi wadi not oj at all.

Best breakfast in ballincollig , freshly cooked with good portions and very reasonable and very friendly owner with free coffee top up couldn’t ask for more 😋

I grew up in Ballincollig but only recently discovered the The Plaza. I am glad I did because the food and staff are amazing. I have dined at the Plaza for breakfast and lunch. They have a fine selection of hot breakfasts (full Irish, scrambled eggs) and fresh dishes like scones. There is a huge selection of lunches: sandwiches, burgers, lasagne, and more. The staff at The Plaza are very kind and great for chatting with new and regular customers. I would think of the Plaza as more of a bistro or a cafe that serves three-course meals. It is not a fancy restaurant or a gastropub, the atmosphere is different. I like this fact but it is up to each person whether they do. If you are travelling through Ballincollig looking for a meal or coffee I would highly recommend The Plaza.

Booked a table for 5, half the party were running late but this was no issue with the staff. Our server was most pleasant and couldn't be faulted. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and was delicious. It was all hot and arrived at the same time. There were no complaints. The price too was reasonable. We dined on a quiet night and this led to a quiet atmosphere. We would highly recommend for both food and service. Definitely going to return. Thanks

Fantastic place lovely atmosphere. First time here and will be back. Decided to go here as was in ballincollig and wanted to get a coffee somewhere we also decided to grab a bite to eat. Glad we did as food was amazing lovely portion for price great presentation on plates aswell. Great value place is spotless aswell. The plaza is next to the cinema so go grab a bite to eat and a drink here before or after a movie. Highly recommended. We will be back. Compliments to the chef and staff there. lovely service happy faces and smiles all around. This is how a restaurant is run well.
