With multiple TVs showing major games, it’s a perfect place to catch football, rugby, or other big sporting events with friends. The atmosphere during matches is electric. Overall, Portobello Bar delivers a great combination of food, drinks, and sports entertainment. Definitely worth visiting when you’re in Dublin.

Very nice bar, fun and has a nice view of the canal

We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday a few weeks ago. Communication beforehand was excellent, with very quick responses to emails and follow up calls for any additional questions we had. We booked tables for approximately 15 people for food and drinks, and there were no issues at all on arrival. The staff were very welcoming, with tables prepared and names clearly displayed everything was organised in a very professional way. The staff were extremely kind, and drinks were coming out quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed, with no pressure to leave the tables for other guests. The food was amazing. I personally had the best steak Dublin so far for the price a 12oz bone-in steak. It was huge, and I even asked others to share it with me. Others had burgers, which I also got to try, and the meat was incredibly tender. The seafood chowder was fantastic as well. Highly recommended for food and drinks. I’ll definitely be going back to Portobello Bar.

We had dinner in the bar we didnt stay in the hotel it was great for a family meal. Great service and great food
