The Pumphouse in Kilkenny

A bar with great character and charm ... sadly disappearing today. The bar staff and the customers were friendly and full of locals knowledge, the bar comfortable and rustic and the pints tasty. The toilets were clean and the prices reasonable. What more do you need!

Great experience in this small neighborhood pub with an authentic atmosphere! The owner is very helpful.

During my trip to Ireland back in 23', I scored an airbnb room right above the pub. The room was well kept and had a little sink in it. The service downstairs was great, a friendly bartender named James and some good pints. Struck up some convos with a locals, and had a great stay. Next time I find myself in Kilkenny, I'll be sure to swing on by.
