This pub had a great atmosphere on entering.I ordered 2 seafood chowder soups .As my friends favourite soup.Wasn't impressed at all.It was so salty and lacking in fish .Which was sad and the price they were charging for it.We definitely didn't finish it .And certainly won't be back.

Truly a wonderful experience with wonderful food. The fish and chips were absolutely perfect, the stew amazing, and the stories fascinating.

Best fish and chips I've ever had! Great breading and not greasy. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Mr. Dooley was very kind to give us a bit of Sligo history as well. Definitely worth a stop!

Fantastic and iconic pub, atmosphere is great, service was great, had an Irish stew and teriyaki chicken salad - have to admit, not great expectations but I’m so happy I was proven wrong! It was bloody fantastic! Loved it

The place is very traditional and the food is very delicious. I ordered a Southern Chicken burger, how delicious. The curry deli too.

16/12/2024: Stopped by this pub in Sligo on our way down the West Coast and so pleased we did - really friendly people who made us feel welcome. Shout out to Anne behind the bar - you made our day thank you! Everyone seemed to know each other in this traditional pub, a local pub I think. Free street parking out front. Cash only - there is an ATM across the road.
28/10/2024: Had a great night here. Met up with Heather's relatives. The atmosphere was amazing. The Guinness was spot on.
