Called in for a couple of beers whilst waiting for a train. Lovely traditional pub, good value and full of friendly locals.

Great pint, convenient location. Its small, doesnt do food and gets really crowded quickly, but thats secondary to a good pint :)

The Cafe Grange

30/08/2025: Cheap and cheerful local cafe. Very friendly staff. Honest brekkies that are surprisingly good value.
05/08/2025: Had the Farmhouse breakfast, it was delicious. The brown bread is homemade and tastes out of this world. They use free-range eggs - so another plus. Very friendly staff and good service. Highly recommend.

It’s not the most lively spot, but it has a certain calm charm to it. If you’re after a peaceful pint and a bit of quiet, this place will do the trick.
